Loving father to David and Stewart, father-in-law to Lesley and Sarah, and grandfather of Jennifer. A well-known and much-loved man.
Funeral service on 24 July at 12.45 pm at Westwood Parish Church, East Kilbride G75 8HD, thereafter to South Lanarkshire Crematorium G72 0TL at 2 pm.
Family flowers only, but donations if desired to Kilbryde Hospice.
The family thanks staff at Hairmyres Hospital and the South Lanarkshire Home Care team for their care and support.
