Richard JonathonHARRISDick died on 5th August 2025 following a short Illness. Dick was a loving Husband to Angi. Father to Elaine and Martyn, Father-In-Law to Matt and Jess, and Grandad to Rupert, Norah and Giles. Dick worked hard in paid and unpaid roles with a range of disability charities throughout his life. His own Life was an excellent example of how disabled people can live independent and fulfilling lives, and will be missed by family, friends, and colleagues.

A private family funeral will be followed by a celebration/memorial event at a date to be arranged.

Dick was a part of Penderels Trust. Involved from before it was even a Trust, through his long service as a trustee and Vice Chair from 1989 until 2020, he was there for us. Everyone appreciated the advice and time he gave to us over the years and he was very much missed when he retired from our Board. On behalf of all staff at Penderels Trust, past and present - thank you, Dick, for everything.

Remembering Dickie when he used to visit NCH Penhurst, Chipping Norton when I used to work there as a residential social worker between 1971 and 1974.You were such a pleasure to have around. Miriam Mann(Chuter)
