Paula was a massive part of my childhood, a fun and loving soul like no other. Paula’s outlook on life was admirable. She was the life and soul of the party and would do anything for anyone. I will cherish the memories we made forever. Heaven has definitely gained an angel. May you rest in peace now. Gone but never forgotten. Love you P x

In August 2022 you told me the consultant referred to your case as very rare and rare you were in every way.
You were my unique, beautiful, brave, bubbly, courageous, strong friend with a big heart who I am so privileged to have known. You didn’t just show these qualities throughout your illness, these were a fundamental part of you. Your passion for life, your family and your work was admirable and your decision to become a mature student inspiring. I miss our chats, texts and the sound of your laugh which I am clinging onto.
I pray you are no longer suffering, until our paths meet again, sleep tight, love you duck xx
