Sir, the title I started to address you with when we first met, and how I will always see you, a true gentleman who one could only but respect! I am honoured to have met and grown close to such a charming, charismatic, intellectual and interesting father in law. I will sadly miss our chats, jokes and playfulness at all the family gatherings, the random joke at the dinner table always slipped into conversation and your general humour and ability to tell past stories like no other with detailed reference to exact dates and times from many years ago. Sir it was an absolute honour, may you rest in peace. You would usually indicate when you were ready to leave a gathering and go home by putting your hat on, only this time it was the lord who put your hat on for you and called you home to heaven. Always in our thoughts and hearts.

Patrick our beloved cousin set the bar high for all of us, his career and his life achievements were the pride and joy of his parents Leslie and Anne and the extended family circle. Patrick kept in touch with all here frequently since his childhood visits to Antrim and Donegal in the 60’s. We always looked forward to his hand written Christmas cards every year and especially the follow up call to update on family matters and Children and Grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all his cousins in Antrim
