The obituary notice of James David MILLAR

I know that it has been a long time since Jim passed away but I have only just come across this page.
My name is Richard Loffler and I first knew Jim back in 1975 when he joined Sandy Lodge golf club. We would play each weekend and also quite often would enjoy a night out with others after the round. He was always great company and seemed to be known everywhere we went!!
In 1980 we moved across together to Moor Park golf club and continued to play together until I went away to live overseas in 1999.
He is someone who I shall always remember as being a friend and someone whom I liked being with.
I miss him.
I hope that he is up there getting the course ready for us both when I eventually join him.
But as the guy in Gladiator says at the end: "not yet, not yet".

So sorry for your loss Rhona. Jim was my mentor and long term colleague for whom I had great affection. I do not have a contact number for Rhona but if a message can be passed I would be grateful as I would like to pay my respects at his funeral
