Andrew Lipinski (Mr Lipinski to me) was one of the most dedicated and encouraging teachers. With a dry sense of humour he set out to ensure that his students could always study to the best of their ability. Recognising my interest in Cell Biology and love of Microscopy he suggested that I read Microbiology at university, thus igniting a life-long passion that continues to this day.
Quite simply I owe him my career. Thank you Mr Lipinski.
Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
My condolences to his family and especially to his wife who was most hospitable to his former A-level students.
Dr Avril Capper (nee Walsh), A-level Biology 1968-70.
