Dave. You've been a massive part of my life and my family and i can't put into words how much your gonna be missed. We've had some great laughs and conversations over the years and I will never forget the memories. Both you and Kath have been great friends and neighbours. Always been so thoughtful and generous and always been there for me when ive needed advice or just a chat. I know how much life changed after Kathy sadly left but you never gave up and just kept on going, until you sadly left us. May you rest now. Thanks for everything. Robert John Wells. Our younger brother passed on the 06th December 2023. We are heart broken Bob, 10, 15 and 16 years younger than us. You were misdiagnosed a year before and then we lost you 5 weeks later. I still have tears for you Bob, I can't believe you have gone. Thank you for all the help you gave me, I couldn't have done it without you. Your time here will keep your memory alive. Wish I had said, Thank you louder. God Bless Robert. Love Val xxxxx

Dear Dave, we just wanted to say how much we will all miss you and for all the love that you gave to us and the kids over the years. We had some great times with you and Kathy, Saturday nights at the Old Mill watching a band, the Vale truck stop and bike rallies what fabulous nights they were. All the Christmas's and New Years when you would come over and celebrate with us, you and Kathy would be draped in tinsel and loads of hair glitter. All the visits where we would put the world's to rights over a cup of coffee and it always ended with you saying " we're doomed babe". Thank you Dave for your friendship and the many many wonderful memories we will always treasure, you're forever in our hearts. Rest easy back in the arms of your beloved Kathy.
All our love Paul & Peta xx

Dave, well what can I say. I cannot believe you are gone, finally back with aunty Kathy and forever in my heart.
You have been such a big part of my life. My fondest memories are when you would pick me up from school and there would be a bag of gifts every time. Inside that bag would be lots of wonderful bits and there would always be a pair of funky tights, they would have colourful pom-poms on or glitter spiderwebs or super sparkly. I always remember how excited I would get when I know you would be picking me up and looking after me.
I will never forget going to gigs when I was little and being so tired I would fall asleep on your lap.
New Year’s Eve were always really fun especially the millennium when you and Kathy turned up with shiny headbands with 2000 on!
Dressing you up for the rocky horror show was hilarious and always going on the stairlift just to hear it sound like a train “choo choo!”
A very fond memory was Christmas time. Every Christmas Day morning me and my brothers would wake up in the morning with a sack full of pressies at the end of our beds. I would sneak into my brothers room and we would open the presents so excited that Santa had bought us gifts. Until one year when I got older I saw my parents putting the sacks into the boot of the car from your house Dave. That’s when I realise that Santa was actually you! I appreciated those gifts so much more knowing they were from you and Kathy!
I love how my children got the pleasure of knowing you and how Olivia always said “mommy when can we see uncle Dave?” And “can we go and feed the fish in the pond?”
You always said “yeah go on then babe”
These are all little things that made you such a special person in my life and in many peoples lives. You are greatly missed by us all!
I just hope you know how much I love you and I’d like to thank you for all of the memories you have given me.
Love you always uncle Dave!
